Jaime and Girair came for a quick visit before they headed to Greensboro, NC, for a wedding. I felt the need to mention Girair's name, as I didn't get any pictures of him this time. How did he get away like that? Hmmm, I must step up my game next time.
Their morning started out with some story time:
It continued with some ipad games. It went well for the most part, until Tyler started pretending that the ipad was a book and he wanted to throw it around. That is when the ipad was removed from his little hands and placed far far away.
Next up on the list: Auntie Jaime and Tyler had to squeeze in the game they always play together. I'll go ahead and call it, "Put the rings on your head." Auntie Jaime stacks rings on Tyler's head and he laughs as he takes them off. He also tries to do it back.
Tyler and Auntie Jaime finished off their morning at the neighborhood park. Uncle G went for a run around the neighborhood instead of having park time because he is training for his first marathon! Tyler had a great time on the swings and playing in the dirt. I may have made some comments to Auntie Jaime about Tyler's khaki shorts getting dirty when she sat him on the playground. At about the same time,
most certainly did may have given me a few looks like I was crazy and had lost my mind. Auntie Jaime was most proud of the dirt that lingered up and down Tyler's legs when we got home! She felt this equaled success and judging by the three hour nap that Tyler took in the afternoon, I'll go ahead and give their play session the stamp of success as well!
I'm always sad to see them go but would rather have them here for a few hours than none at all. Thanks for the visit, Aunt Jaime and Uncle G!
Love this post (minus the pictures of me from the am- thanks for that)! We had such a great time and look forward to coming back soon :)
