Month in Review...

Oh, hello! Yes, we still exist. It sure has been a while. We have been very busy this month. See this house?

Yes, its ours. Yes, I love it. Yes, we are putting it on the market.

There are a number of reasons for our decision, but there simply isn't enough time to get into it! All I can tell you is that good things will ultimately come with our decision and we are moving forward!

Now, onto the good stuff (and a special thanks to my cell phone for always being with me and allowing me to capture these moments!) Here are some events from the last few weeks:

He LOVES to eat:

He has had two play dates with his cousin:

He has been testing boundaries and then making up for it with some serious cuteness:

He has been helping daddy with house projects...exhibit A:

He has been a big fan of bath time and his new alphabet letters:

He has been playing with his toys:

He LOVES to be woken up:

He helped celebrate Daddy's birthday:

He got valentines from his friends at day-care:

He has been finding little items (such as pacifiers) and placing them in random places (especially tossing them in baskets):

He went out to eat and enjoyed french fries:

He had a visit from Grammy:

He went to the park to swing and go on the slide:

He enjoyed a visit from Aunt Jaime:

Last, but not least - He practiced multi-tasking (notice the pen in his hand, his turned head to watch television and his hand on the couch to stand):

Uh Oh Spaghetti-O...

Pictures just don't do it justice. The site of Tyler eating a food he loves is great. Here is a peak of what a spaghetti dinner looks like in our house!

February Visit from Grammy...

Grammy (and also our trusty babysitter) arrived by train from Virginia to spend a couple of days with us. She knew that we needed some help watching Tyler so we could work on getting the house prepared to put on the market. She also knew we had a concert that we wanted to go to (Eric Church) and offered to watch Tyler! Here are some pics from her visit: Grammy read Tyler some bedtime stories:
We went out to eat:
We went to the park:

Matt and I went to the Eric Church Concert in Greensboro, NC:
We ate at Natty Greenes in Greensboro, NC. Jaime introduced us to the place when she was in college at UNC-G and we go there everytime we visit:
Yes, this was at the concert. I mean, the seats clearly weren't close to the stage but we had a good time!
Auntie Jaime happened to be in Greensboro while we were there for the concert. She stopped by our house on the way back to Virginia to pick up Grammy and see Tyler!

Matt's 30th Birthday...

Matt's Birthday happens to be on Valentine's Day. I know what you are thinking..."Valentine's Baby!" Don't be shy. You can think it. Even the cashier at Parbills in Farmville, Virginia would refer to Matt as the "Valentine's Baby" when he got carded buying beer in college. To celebrate Matt's special day, I started by making some cookies and cream cupcakes:
Tyler sat with Matt as he opened his card and gift:

For dinner, we had bacon wrapped chicken kabobs with pineapple!

Cousin Time plus Birthday Celebration...

Tyler and Bryson do not see eachother very often, so when they do, I always try to snap a few pictures!

While we were at my in-laws house, we also celebrated Matt's 30th Birthday a couple days early:
