Happy 4th Birthday, Tyler!!!

For Tyler's 4th birthday this year, Matt and I decided to both take off from work and spend all day celebrating Tyler! We started the morning with blueberry muffins, a "skillet" made by daddy and strawberries!

We decided to take the boys to the Marbles Museum in Raleigh for the day! Here they are, dressed up before heading out to the museum:

The boys had such a good time playing at the museum! 

After we left the museum, we took Tyler to Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We do not go out to eat very often so when we do, he gets pretty excited!

Once we got home from lunch, we let Tyler open up his surprise present from us: a balance bike! He had the helmet already. He's a little unsure of the bike, but did try it out a few times!

To wrap up the night, we had cake and made cupcakes for Tyler to take to school the next day! It was such a fun day celebrating Tyler! Matt and I were exhausted at the end of the night - I can only imagine how tired both of the boys were!

Jakes 16 month appt...

At Jake's 18 month appointment, he had to get some shots. His appointment went very well, however the poor guy didn't feel so well a couple of hours later:\\

When we took the bandaid off, it left a big rash!

At the end of the night once bath time was over and bed time was near, Jake was a happy camper again! :) I can't believe he's already 16 months old!!

Happy Birthday to Grandma Nancy...

We had Grandma Nancy over to our house for dinner, birthday cake and presents! 

I Have a PJ Problem...

Seriously, I kind of have a PJ problem. I love the kids in matching PJ's! It all started around Christmas time when I saw them in the same color scheme and BAM! Here I go, at it again for a summer time matching session! Love these two! :)

Jake's First Pool Trip...

Jake went to his first pool trip of what will likely be many. He loved the water! Tyler also had fun watching float around in the pool with me in his raft! Hoping for many more successful pool visits this summer!

Happy Father's Day...

Happy Father's Day to the best dad ever!! Jake and Tyler made this for daddy this year. 

This is one of my favorites. Tyler filled this out about his dad :)

For dinner, we had had steak and grilled corn. After dinner, we had Pat, Heidi and Bryson come over for a bonfire and smores!

I've said this before and I'll say it again....the kids are so lucky to have a dad as great as Matt is. We are happy to celebrate him any chance we can! Happy Father's Day!! We love you!
