I was on the National Kidney Foundation Spring Clinical Meeting's Planning Committee this year. The conference was held at the Gaylord National which is only about 25 minutes from Grammy and Grandpa's house. Here is a view from the hotel:
Here is another view by the national harbor at sunset:
Being on the committee meant being in meetings all day and introducing speakers - not exactly conducive to the schedule of a 14 month old. When Grammy and Grandpa found out that we were going to be in the area, they jumped at the chance to have Tyler stay with them for the week. The separation was hard, but thanks to my dad, I got multiple pictures and videos per day.
They played outside:
They went to a petting farm:
They spoiled Mr. Tyler:
Here are a few other pictures from the week:
I even got to squeeze in a special mother's day dinner with my mom and Jaime in Georgetown!
Following dinner, we headed to wait in line at Georgetown Cupcake for the most delcious cupcake I have ever tasted in my life - Salted Caramel.
We waited in line for at least 30 minutes, but it was so worth it.
