Duke Children's Campus: Pictures Part 1...

Today marked the last day of Tyler being at Duke Children's Campus. We loved having him there but over the last several months, it became very apparent to us that it would not be feasible for us to have two children at that school. Paying $1,269/month for him to be there was a steep price to pay and multiplying that by two is simply not possible. If we had any doubts about Tyler's development or about moving him, we would have found a way to keep him there. However, the good news is that Tyler has made such improvements since being there that we feel very comfortable with his development.

When Tyler started there, he was getting speech therapy weekly and continued to get it until he graduated from the speech therapy program a few weeks ago. He is talking up a storm these days. When Tyler started at the school, he did not want to participate in arts and crafts either and had alot of aversions to textures. He has made such progress and grown so much!

When I picked Tyler up from school today, we got one of the best gifts ever: a flash drive of 200 pictures that they have taken of him over the past year. I'm so appreciative to them for doing this. It has been fun for us to look at his progress over the past year. I'm going to share them in four installments so I'll get started...
